The Westchester County CoC is soliciting Requests for Information (RFIs) from eligible partner agencies to be included as a subrecipient provider in the application to HUD for a CoC Builds (CoCB) project.

Responses to this RFI are due by 2pm on Monday August 26th.

CoC Builds is a HUD funding opportunity which will provide funding ONLY for capital projects (new construction, acquisition, renovation) to create new Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) units for disabled persons experiencing homelessness.

Minimum Request Amount: $1,000,000

Maximum Request Amount: $7,500,000

Matching Requirement: 25% of awarded CoC Builds funds. Matching funds may be from Cash sources or In-kind contributions as described at 24 CFR 578.73.

Applicants must have experience serving and successfully engaging the homeless population described in their application, demonstrated capacity to develop capital building projects that have a similar scale as the proposed project, and the ability to manage grant funds in a timely and effective manner.

The Westchester CoC welcomes proposals from agencies that do not currently receive CoC funding in Westchester County. Those agencies that apply will receive bonus points when scoring responses to this RFI.
